"Two years ago I put down a deposit for an off plan property in Cyprus, the purchase of which was through Nick and his team at Pro Property Investor. The building work which was due to start a year later got delayed and delayed and eventually we were informed that the complex (ours was just one property) was not going ahead as the builder had run out of funds. At first this was quite scary as I had put down a £25,000 deposit. I remembered that Nick and his team had explained to me that the deposit money would be kept with the solicitors and not given to the builder until completion of the complex so I was relieved when Nick called me in to discuss the various options available to me. These included keeping the money in Cyprus and investing in another property, using the money to invest in another property outside Cyprus with Pro Property or finally repatriating the money back to me in the UK. In the end I decided to bring the money back to the UK and sit tight for a while.

To cut a long story short I would just like to say that not all property investment companies are corrupt, Nick and his team were very professional throughout my dealings and worked hard on my behalf. My deposit was never in danger and I even made a profit on the interest and exchange rate when I brought the money back.
